When you have an international community of 3000 Santas, there is a slight chance that a few of them and their Mrs. Claus' have tickled-the-ivories, or played an instrument in a band or orchestra some time in their lives.

Taking that chance a bit further, we invited any of them with musical experience to consider joining together to form "The Official Jamboree Santa Band."

Under the direction and guidance of Santa Gary Sula-Goff this special group will be just one of the highlights of the FORBS 2010 Santa Jamboree. 

How do you get over 500 Santas, Mrs. Claus and holiday entertainers, most of whom have never met each other, to sing one or two songs?

In unison? 

While marching in a Parade?           

And in harmony??

To do this you bring in an experienced men's chorus director, like Santa Reese Williams, and give all of them a few hours to rehearse and get to know each other.

As an experienced Chorus Director with the SPEBSQSA (Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America), Santa Reese has traveled all over these United States helping to build community choruses.

With a little assistance from some section leaders and a few strong singers, Santa Reese will teach a few hundred gentlemen how to sing one or two of our favorite holiday songs on cue, and in four part harmony! 

It sound impossible, but he has been doing this for years assisting in the formation of local Barber Shop Chapters.   The plan is to learn special arrangements of "Jingle Bells," "We Wish you a Merry Christmas."  and a special arrangement of  "FORBS Santas"  written by Santa Bob Callahan (sung to the tune 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town')

All of this is for the "Santa Cruisin' Parade" and other events during the Jamboree.
